In preparation for a historic Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade, Western Desk worked with Planned Parenthood to design a response campaign rooted in community care. The resulting deep canvassing campaign has engaged residents where they are to share resources and information after the historic decision.

To turn out climbers for the 2022 midterms, Western Desk worked with the American Alpine Club to design the “Postal Project,” a peer-to-peer postcard program that connects members and unlikely voters using community art, urgency, and shared values.

As founding Communications and Development Director, Western Desk continues to work with the Rural Utah Project, expanding capacity by managing design projects that support rural candidates for office, engage voters, and support the rural addressing program on the Navajo Nation. As a general strategy consultant, Western Desk has advised the coalition to Save Our Great Salt Lake on movement infrastructure building, messaging, organizing strategy, and campaign tactics since the coalition’s founding.

As a digital consultant, Western Desk manages the email and acquisition programs for the 2022 campaign to pass the Fair Share Amendment, a Massachusetts ballot question that would create a tax on millionaires and billionaires, using the resulting funds to invest in public education and transportation.
